1. Assessment & Evaluation
We begin by carefully examining your existing jewellery.
We assess the weight and purity of your gold, the condition of your diamonds and gemstones, and determine what can be reused, redesigned, or reset.
If suitable, your gold can be remelted and refined into the new piece.
Alternatively, it can be credited toward fresh precious metal if that better suits the design and structural integrity of the new ring.

2. Redesign & Quotation
With a clear understanding of your materials, we move into the design phase.
We discuss your vision and create detailed 2D sketches, incorporating your existing stones where possible.
A transparent quotation is prepared outlining reused materials, credited gold, and any additional sourcing required.

3. Crafting your New Piece
Your redesigned piece is handcrafted in precious metal using traditional bench techniques. If your gold is being reused, it is carefully melted, alloyed if necessary, and formed into the new design.
Stones are professionally reset with precision and care.
Throughout the process, the production is documented so you can see your heirloom evolve into something new.

4. Presenting Your Piece
Receiving your new piece is a special moment and the final step in a journey we have shared together.
Once complete, your piece is professionally valued and documented.
You receive a professional valuation certificate suitable for insurance purposes, along with diamond certification where applicable. Each piece is carefully prepared and accompanied by a polishing cloth and a personal handwritten thank-you card.
Your jewellery is then beautifully presented in a TOROS Jewellery box, ready for collection or secure delivery. Opening the box reveals a piece that has been thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted, prepared to become part of your story for years to come.
